Job Description
1.
Project Management: Lead the day-to-day on-site operations of MTA construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with MTA standards, codes, and regulations.Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the Project Director.

Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and MTA officials to facilitate smooth project execution.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.

Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all project sites.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and MTA safety protocols.Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel.

Resource Management: Manage the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment for maximum efficiency.Ensure proper use and maintenance of construction equipment.Monitor and manage project costs to avoid overruns and ensure financial accountability.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site project stakeholders, including MTA officials, engineers, and community representatives.Provide regular updates to the Project Director and other key stakeholders on project status, issues, and milestones.Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed daily reports of project progress, incidents, and any deviations from plans.Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.Prepare and submit required reports to MTA and other regulatory bodies as needed.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications.Address any defects or deficiencies promptly.

The Successful Applicant
5. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
6. Proven experience as a Superintendent Construction Manager on MTA projects
7. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
8. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
11. OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent is preferred.
