King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Patient Pathway coordinator to join the Cardiology Department based at the Princess Royal University Hospital site. We also have part of our admin support at Central Court, Orpington. You will be responsible for providing an effective service to the Consultant Cardiologists and their teams.
Main duties of the job
This post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to be a part of a busy team. The work involves processing clinic letters, booking of appointments, liaising with internal as well as external providers. You will be dealing with incoming queries and day-to-day administrative duties. The post requires an excellent understanding of the 18-week RTT process and knowledge of the Trust Access Policy.
The successful candidate must have experience of performing administrative duties in an NHS or private hospital setting, be able to work well in a team, take instructions from several sources, as well as having excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for someone who can multitask, has strong admin abilities and can prioritise their own workload.
