Teaching Personnel is currently working with one of our Partnership Schools and they are excited to share that they are seeking a full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Site Manager to join their expanding team.

We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of maintenance and experience with management, based in or around the Towcester/Silverstone area.
This is a full-time position (40 hours a week), Monday to Friday during term time. We are currently accepting applications for an immediate start (November 2024) or for roles starting after a suitable notice period.
The Site Manager will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to:
* Organise and ensure the security of the school premises
* Ensure the school is open for use as and when required and secure the premises at the end of the day
* Ensure the site always remains a safe environment
* Ensure good Health & Safety practice at the school
* Ensure that all equipment and machinery is in a safe working condition and properly stored when not in use, reporting any concerns about the condition of equipment as quickly as possible
* Manage the control, monitoring, ordering and safe storage of cleaning materials and supplies as necessary
* Regularly check premises for damage and areas of repair, keeping accurate records
* Carry out day to day maintenance and minor repairs
* Organise external contractors for more specialised work
* Make sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly
* Maintain the upkeep of external areas
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES
* Good general standard of education (GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent)
* Experience working with children and young people
* Ability to drive
* The ability to identify risks and implement strategies to minimise those risks
* The genuine desire to make a positive difference and contribution to the lives of young people
