Boasting some of the world’s most complex risks within its portfolio, there is surely no better place for an ambitious Senior Property Risk Engineer / Surveyor to ply their trade than this global broking house.
This is a home-based role with UK-wide travel (and potentially internationally, if desired), where you will work with a diverse range of blue-chip clients across a variety of industry sectors. You will be providing risk consultancy to existing clients, supporting their needs for Risk Control services.
Supporting the broking process, you will play a key part in managing the relationship with clients and insurers. This will include undertaking site audits and surveys, as well as producing reports on site risks and existing control measures. This will be supplemented by making your own risk recommendations, as well as reviewing those provided by insurers and third parties.
You will also get the opportunity to take responsibility for account managing (from a Risk Control perspective) the largest clients – typically those with multi-million-pound premium spends.
It’s essential that you have a solid background in Property risk, pertaining to large/corporate clients, and it is likely that you will hold Risk Management/Insurance qualifications. We are open to applications from current Risk Engineers/Surveyors, as well as candidates from associated areas such as Property Loss Adjusting. You must be able to provide leadership on technical matters and have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
A major selling point of this opportunity is that you will benefit from a high level of autonomy to manage your own diary. The proactive nature of the role (as opposed to being heavily reactive) could certainly appeal to Loss Adjusters who would like to make the transition into a ‘less hectic’ Risk Engineer role.
Working for what is arguably the most prestigious insurance broker in the world, you will benefit from a myriad of career-development opportunities spanning many different business areas.
In return, you will receive a generous basic salary and a comprehensive flexible benefits package that can be tweaked to your own personal circumstances.
