About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Electical Inspector employed at a client site in Barrow in Furness.
The Role of the Electrical Inspector will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality team.
Qualifications:
1. Production of inspection reports (non conformances, damage reporting etc) and associated project specific documents;
2. Inspection hold point witnessing for sub contractors and site activities;
3. Be an active stakeholder in the process of Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plan’s (ITP’s) including completion and sign off;
4. Review of Materail certificates/CoCs related to electrical scope;
5. Visit sub contractor facilities to carry out inspections, witness FAT tests and review of Life Time Records;
6. Major Stakeholder in the creation of Life Time Quality Record packs;
7. 18th Edition;
8. City & Guilds electrical inspection and testing;
9. 3-5 years’ experience in on site electrical inspection and testing including familiarity with panel building/testing;
10. Time served electrician.
Here's What You'll Need:
11. UK National, single Nationality;
12. Ability to understand specifications and construction drawings. (Mandatory);
13. Strong electrical inspection experience. (Mandatory);
14. Clear understanding of Goods Inwards procedures;
15. Understand the requirements for engagement with client QA/QC;
16. SC clearance desirable.
