Job Title: Geography Teacher

Job Duties:
1. Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons to secondary level students
2. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
3. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment through collaboration with colleagues and enhancing the curriculum
4. Participate in school events and meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
6. Degree in Geography or related field
7. Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
8. Previous experience teaching geography at secondary level
9. Strong subject knowledge and passion for geography
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Postgraduate qualification in Education
13. Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
14. Work in a school setting with standard teaching hours
15. Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
16. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
