Randstad are recruiting a general Support Assistant for students who require support, across third level education for the 2023/24 academic year on a part-time basis.

Requirements
6. Have experience of working with young people or adults with mild, moderate, or severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities and/or long-term medical conditions
7. Access to transport due to campus locations would be highly desirable but is not essential
8. Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting checks before commencement in role including an Access NI check
Duties
9. Working with students
10. Assisting students in accessing campus facilities including opening doors, carrying bags, orientation around campus, general assistance etc
11. Ensuring that all documentation and authorisation procedures are adhered to
12. Making any necessary reasonable adjustments to ensure support is delivered in an accessible manner
13. To provide support to students on work placement
14. To liaise with parents/carers/guardians when directed to do so
15. To supervise students
