1st Line Support Engineer
Rate - £14 an hour
Duration - 3 months initially
Location - Bath
Ir35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella company)
Provides all 1st line/ 2nd line support functions for standard usage of all IT & Audio Visual equipment, software and services supported by DDaT.
Ensures smooth operation of the IT Delivery & Operations Service Desk
Includes 1st line / 2nd line field support for all IT & Audio Visual equipment, software and services supported by DDaT.
Includes provision of Assistive Technology (guidance and support)
Detailed Responsibilities
1. IT Service Desk (1st & 2nd Line Support)

9. IT/AV Support for Standard Office Moves & New Builds
10. Deployment of standard end user compute devices
11. Annual refresh of standard GTA devices
12. Production of self-help guides
13. Exam laptop standard configurations
14. Lecture Capture (1st/2nd line support)
15. Remote Support service
16. DDaT Activities for Start of New Academic Year
17. Proactive maintenance & replacement of AV equipment
18. Hybrid Events and Teaching (1st/2nd line)
19. Building Project Consultancy
