Xpert Resourcing has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry to facilitate their ever-growing operation.
Our client, who is a global manufacturing company, is looking for a Maintenance Planner and Stores Coordinator to join their busy factory on a permanent basis near Sawston.
Duties:
1. Develop a maintenance strategy that guarantees the efficient completion of all tasks.
2. Ensure the system precisely predicts and creates work orders within feasible timeframes.
3. Assist with machine history to identify key areas for investigation.
4. Manage the day-to-day stock.
5. Ensure pre-kitting is carried out for all major planned maintenance tasks, and that all parts required are available.
6. Proactively seek to lower the yearly expenses on spare parts by exploring alternative suppliers and negotiating for price discounts.
Skills Required:
1. Computer literacy and high proficiency in major IT tools including Maintenance Management systems (e.g. SAP, MS Office).
2. Exposure to a maintenance environment or equivalent in the chemical sector, pharmaceutical, biochemical is advantageous.
3. Proven track record of manufacturing/maintenance planning.
Working Hours/Pay:
1. 37.5 hours per week.
2. Monday – Friday, hours to be discussed, depending on availability.
