The Service Manager Position:
We are looking for a new service manager to join our team. With support from Registered Manager, as you settle into the National Care Group team, you will have a close network of professionals to support you on your journey and help guide you into your new role. We are proud to be a Good CQC rated service and are looking for someone who is relentless in their pursuit to achieve even greater things for the people we support.
About the role
6. Devise, implement and review support and risk management plans
7. Perform quality based audits across support, risk, and management plans.
8. Be involved and contribute to management meetings, daily office functions and represent the company, when needed and be a point of contact for families.
9. Ensuring information held by the company about individuals we support is kept securely and updated regularly in line with the Data Protection Act 1998
10. Support staff to work within boundaries of their role and capabilities
11. Plan and deliver staff appraisals and supervisions with other HR related tasks and where necessary, be part of the disciplinary process
12. Fully comply with the requirements set out by the Health and Social Care Act 2014, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Health and Social Care Regulations 2010, Safeguarding Policies and CQC standards
13. Understand and adhere to the policies as set out in the Mental Health Act 2013
14. Take part in out of hours on call duties
About you:
15. You’ll have plenty of experience working with those in supported living. Working across Autism, Mental Health and challenging behaviour.
16. Ideally you will be an established Service Manager who is looking for a new challenge.
17. You will have a keen eye for detail and have a passion for quality and governance.
18. You will have achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, however advantageous if you already have your Level 4 or level 5. If not we can support you to achieve this.
19. You will have strong leadership values as we know people are at the heart of everything we do.
