Are you ready to shape the future of QA in an agile, innovative environment?
* Do you thrive on collaboration and want to work with cutting-edge technology like Blazor, C#, and Azure?
* Are you passionate about delivering seamless user experiences through robust testing and automation?
If this resonates, this opportunity might be the next exciting step in your career.
Why This Role is Great
Our client, a global leader in the insurance sector, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic web development team. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering scalable, secure, and user-focused applications, leveraging modern tools like Playwright, NUnit, and JMeter.
This role is about more than testing. You’ll influence a culture of quality, champion a “shift-left” approach, and guide less experienced team members to develop their skills. With a robust CI/CD pipeline and agile methodologies, you’ll help create innovative solutions that put users first.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Driving Quality: Collaborate with engineers and product owners to design, refine, and test solutions that meet user needs.
* Shaping Best Practices: Advocate for quality as a shared responsibility and ensure adherence to testing standards (performance, accessibility, exploratory, and more).
* Innovating Through Automation: Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
* Mentoring and Leadership: Guide colleagues, contribute to technical designs, and champion a risk-based approach to QA.
* Hands-On Contribution: Actively participate in agile sessions, lead demonstrations, and document acceptance criteria and test plans.
What You’ll Bring
Our ideal candidate will have experience with some of the following:
* A strong foundation in C#, Blazor, or other front-end technologies.
* Proficiency in a variety of testing techniques (e.g., performance, exploratory, white-box).
* Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based environments.
* A passion for automation, with exposure to tools like Moq, Automapper, or Playwright.
* Accessibility testing knowledge and a user-focused mindset.
* A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience mentoring and supporting team members.
