Children’s Services – Inclusion Learning and Achievement Division
We are looking for up to two sessional clerks to work within a well-established team on a casual basis, working on behalf of the Local Authority as part of a traded service. The main duties of the post comprise: undertaking the principal duties of a clerk, clerking meetings and providing legislative guidance and advice on Governors’ roles and responsibilities.

1. Proven track record of successfully clerking governing boards, and meeting rigorous deadlines
2. Good interpersonal skills
3. The ability to influence and inspire confidence
4. The ability to work flexibly
This role will need you to be prepared to travel to schools for Governing Boards meetings and work in the evenings, as and when required.
This role requires an enhanced DBS.

Salary: Salaries advertised are for a standard working week of 35 hours unless otherwise stated. Please use this to help you calculate a pro rata salary.
