To help achieve this, we're looking for a technically proficient Technology / Project Engineer with experience leading engineering activities across local and remote locations.
You'll be responsible for all aspects of engineering projects within the Advanced Wound Management Technology Team focusing on delivering new (or modifying existing) manufacturing processes and technologies, both on the Hull site and at other locations globally. Ensuring our projects are implemented successfully and meet business targets.
What will you be doing?
1. Delivering validated manufacturing processes from concept to hand-over.
2. Work with external suppliers, contractors and S&N sites to ensure project achievements are met.
3. Perform/supervise critical engineering activities including FAT, installation, commissioning, SAT, IQ, OQ and PQ.
4. Ensuring all documentation is handled in a timely manner.
5. Manage project finances in line with budget.
6. Identify and resolve complex technical and operational challenges related to products and manufacturing processes.
7. Display strong influencing skills at all levels of the organisation and take responsibility for ensuring regular project updates are communicated to the appropriate teams and leaders.
8. Establish regular communication channels for internal and external collaborators, multiple sites and project teams.
What does success look like?
Successful utilisation and deployment of the latest Technology to deliver significant Engineering Projects from Idea Conception to Execution. On-Time and within Budget, with Vertical Start-Up and realisation of performance KPI’s from the project “Go Live” is a MUST.
Who are we looking for?
Our successful candidate will be educated in a relevant Engineering or Scientific field, with experience demonstrating their technical proficiency working in a highly regulated industry.
Qualifications in IOSH, NEBOSH or Lean Sigma Green Belt would be advantageous, however not crucial.
