We are now seeking a proactive, organised and enthusiastic Recruitment Officer to join our small but dynamic Recruitment team, who are embedded in the wider HR department. This role is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the RBO and support us to ensure we attract and retain the best talent in our workforce.If you like the challenge of working across a varied portfolio, moving from large scale campaigns such as assessment centres for Front of House Ushers to supporting with unsighted Chorus auditions, from sitting on interview panels for lighting, costume and stage to admin functions such as IT, Finance and Operations then this is the role for you. To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about people and opening access to opportunities with the RBO, acting as an advocate for careers. You will be a positive and committed team player, with the ability to work autonomously and take direction as required.Our ideal candidate will have: Experience of working on recruitment campaigns and a proven commitment to proactively promoting diversity and inclusion through recruitment (this could be in-house or agency) Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Excellent people skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people within and outside the organisation and build rapport quickly The ability to deal with people at all levels with tact and diplomacy, especially with regards to confidential information A firm commitment to delivering a high standard of service to both internal stakeholders and external customers The ability to work at pace in a changing and responsive environment whilst maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detailPrior knowledge of our art forms is not essential, though an interest in learning more about how a leading arts organisation functions is critical.
