We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in Norwich as a Systems Development and Support Assistant.
We need someone who can support existing service systems and work with suppliers and staff to develop effective solutions to problems that arise. In this role you will be required to ensure that service systems and infrastructure work properly and any issues are resolved, reported or escalated so that performance and delivery are not adversely affected, and staff can do their jobs effectively.
This is a full-time role, with the addition of some emergency line cover throughout the year which includes weekends. A flexible approach is required as additional hours may be requested, sometimes at short notice or working from different offices.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills with the ability to build and maintain new databases, have problem solving skills, the ability to work in a team, a strong work ethic and analytical and quantitative skills. Candidates will need to demonstrate a commitment to great customer service and meet our high expectations for service delivery and be a brilliant communicator.
Travel to other offices within the county may be required so a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
