About therole
We are looking for a LeadClinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at our BelmontSecondary School based in the North West. The postholder will workcollaboratively with both the school’s Senior Leadership team andthe Locality Clinical Lead. The role will be split betweenclinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Thepostholder will be responsible for coordinating the line managementof the members of the onsite clinical team. Workingcollaboratively with the site, you will deliver bespoke assessmentand intervention plans for our students who may present withcomplex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types ofneurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional andmental health (SEMH) needs. You will also be responsible forcoordinating the line management of the members of the onsiteclinical team.
You will be responsible forholding the therapy caseload with the full support of ourwell-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growingClinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training andconsultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, thisposition would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with atherapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well asmanage their own workload and supervise others. Working within overall frameworkof the service policies and procedures, you will be supporting theintegration of the specific service in the day to day running ofeach provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinicalservices. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver the wellbeingand clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced andspecialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our pupils’needs in line with set Education, Health Plan (EHCP).

Essential Criteria:
* Recognised degree in either,Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapyor registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with theHCPC.
* Valid and up to dateprofessional Registration & membership of professional bodye.g. HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT
* Experience within the specialist client group;working with autistic individuals and those with complexneeds.
* Clear and concisereport writing relating to clinical and researchactivities
* Experience ofproviding supervision and supporting a therapyteam
* Ability to workindependently
* Experience ofmulti-professional work with teams or services within thedesignated specialty preferred
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to ownvehicle
