As a Merchandise Planner, you’ll be the driving force behind our product categories, ensuring our stores are always on point with the latest trends! You will dive into data, analyse past and current trends, and use your insights to forecast the future. Your ability to stay ahead of the curve will keep Claire’s at the forefront of fashion!
Whether it's prepping for back-to-school, Halloween, or the holiday rush, you’ll manage inventory and sales strategies across different seasons, always aiming for the best financial results.
What You'll Do:
1. Be the Business Whiz: You'll own the numbers, forecasting sales, and setting the stage for our hottest trends. Your insights will keep our shelves stocked and our customers happy!
2. Shape the Future: Use your analytical skills to spot trends, make data-driven decisions, and help us stay ahead of the curve.
3. Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our Merchandising team to craft assortment strategies that align with our goals. Your ideas will help shape our next big thing!
4. Lead with Confidence: Support and guide an Associate Planner, sharing your knowledge and driving success together.
5. Stay Agile: Juggle multiple seasons, manage risks, and seize opportunities to optimize inventory and sales. Every day is different, and you’ll thrive in our fast-paced environment.
What You'll Bring:
6. 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, retail buying, or planning
7. A love for numbers and a knack for turning data into actionable plans
8. Strong organizational and communication skills—you're a natural leader!
9. A proactive attitude with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines
10. Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing world
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
