ROLE: Reception Manger - Luxurious Boutique Hotel
LOCATION: Windermere, Lake District
SALARY: £30-£33,000 per year plus accommodation provided
A luxurious boutique hotel with a reputation second to none in the heart of the Lake District is looking for an experienced Reception Manager or Guest Relations Manager who can manage and supervise the reception and Porter team with the daily running of the Front Desk within this very popular leisure destination, serving great quality food and drink in a relaxed and friendly environment.
This is a great opportunity for you to work straight shifts, on a rota basis, 5 days out of 7,40 hours a week.
Requirements of the role:
* Management and analysis of guest satisfaction levels.
* Maximising room occupancy, recognising guests needs to promote hotel services and in house facilities such as Upselling Bedroom & Restaurant bookings.
* Setting of departmental objectives and rotas to promote a motivating and fun environment to work.
* Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
* Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team.
Person Specification
* Our ideal candidate will be confident with lots of motivation and possess the foresight to anticipate and surpass guest expectations.
* Previous experience of managing a hotel reception team and desk.
* Have excellent communication skills to interact and build relationships with guests and staff.
* Reslynx knowledge will be an advantage
