Our award winning nurturing school (Ofsted rated Good, last inspection March 2024) is looking for the right person, with the right ethos, to join our happy, forward thinking community.
Salary: BP I.6 to BP 2.15 pro-rata depending on experience and qualifications (£17,300 - £20,100)
Contract: Fixed term contract from 4th November until 31st August 2025, with the potential to extend to a permanent contract.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days)

About the role
The Teaching Assistant will work initially in Year 1 where a Continuous Provision curriculum is followed.
They will support pupils, including more in depth support for those with additional SEN needs, within the class, in small groups or individually across EYFS/KS1.
They will help support the social and emotional wellbeing of pupils.

About you
You will have:
6. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) relevant Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification - preferred but not essential
7. Experience of working in a School or Early Years setting preferred
8. Minimum of English and Maths GCSE
