Procurement Specialist (Senior Buyer) - MEP Somerset, Hybrid What you’ll do… As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for responsible for end to end procurement of MEP Construction Works, overseeing the procurement of MEP services across General Contractors (GC) packages and Non-General Contractors packages. The role will be hybrid with 2-3 days on-site in Somerset. Some domestic and international travel can be expected. Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will: Efficiently manage coordination between General contractor and direct suppliers. Maintaining clear communication and alignment with project timelines and requirements. Keep trackers up to date to communicate project status to senior leadership. Proactively addressing risks and issues to ensure smooth delivery of MEP packages. Streamlining the approach to ensure the project benefits from both existing commitments and new opportunities for sourcing. Who we are… Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. Being a relatively new department, you’ll play a critical part in creating purchasing and supply chain processes and a key driver of efficiency, cost-saving and sustainability within the organization. What you’ll bring… Proven work experience in Indirect Sourcing, mainly in Construction, Energy or Transport sector. Knowledge about legal and NEC/4 contract terms and broad knowledge about contract finalization. MEP Construction price trend and market strategy knowledge Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculation and presentation. Coordinating with users for PR, Approvals and releasing PO. Expedite the payments - aligning with the GRN & Accounts payable team Analytical, numerate with strong MS skills, especially excel.
