As a Process Technician at our production site in Settle, North Yorkshire, you will be part of a business that takes pride in growing talent from within. What will the role look like?
As a Process Technician, you will be integral to site production. You’ll be operating state of the art machinery every day. You’ll be able to have impact, generating ideas and implementing improvements. You’ll be a problem solver, a technical expert, and a go to person for all things liquid processing. Alongside all this, you’ll be a valued colleague working as part of a quality- driven, passionate team.
Key responsibilities include;
10. Contribute to a healthy, inclusive and safe work environment, and role model our character mindset.
11. Support Continuous Improvement through the use of Lean Tools.
12. Follow departmental KPI’s, minimizing, managing, and reporting losses.
13. Operate machines and processing equipment using operating interfaces
14. Identify and address the root cause of problems
15. Run the department’s processes and resolve process failures
16. Identity opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implement appropriate solutions.
17. Actively participate in the development and optimization of the washing processes.
18. Ensure awareness of and compliance with quality and food safety requirements within your area of responsibility.
19. Apply procedures and instructions regarding food safety (HACCP).
20. Determine pass/fail criteria for products and handle nonconforming products.
21. Manage product recipes, article numbers, and additives- including understanding their functions.
