At Appetite, we believe that planning your next meal out should not only be simpler but just as enjoyable as the meal itself. Dining out is inherently a social experience, and we're here to make the discovery, planning, and booking one too.
We’re now on the hunt for a London-based Social Media Manager to take control and grow our social presence and help drive our brand’s success. We're a brand that's fun, fast-moving, and ready to push the boundaries with what we do (we'll try anything once!), and we're looking for a hungry (sorry we had to...) new team member to join us on this journey.

What you'll be doing…
Strategy
* Maintain, optimise and develop upon a pre-existing social media strategy across platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Linkedin, with a focus on growing brand awareness and driving app engagement and downloads
Content Creation & Curation
* Work both independently and with our Brand Design team to develop high-quality, engaging and on-brand content tailored to each platform. Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to ensure product value is communicated with original and innovative content.
Audience Growth & Engagement
* Drive follower growth, engagement rates and audience interaction with compelling and shareable content, actively engaging with followers and leveraging community-building tactics.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track, analyse and report on social media KPI’s such as follower growth, engagement rates, and conversions. Use insights to refine strategy and improve performance.
Campaign Management
* Lead the ideation, planning and execution of social media campaigns to promote the brand, new app features, events and partnerships.
Influencer Management
* Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach, drive engagement and create authentic user-generated content
Trends
* Stay updated on social media trends, new platform features and best practices. Proactively suggest new approaches to increase reach and engagement
Community Building
* Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages and mentions to promote a positive brand image.
You are someone who has...
Experience
* Has 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing and growing social media for a brand in the app or tech space
* Proven record of driving growth in followers, engagement and app-related KPI’s
* (Preferred) Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
* (Preferred) Experience working on a B2C app
Education
* (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field
Skills
* Expertise in major social media platforms and social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite)
* Strong content creation skills (writing, basic video editing, design) and experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite or similar
* Proven experience with Influencer partnerships, UGC content and Community management
* Understanding of paid social advertising
* Excellent project management with attention to detail, time management and multitasking skills
Personal attributes
* Passion for the food industry, a keen interest in culinary trends, a finger on the pulse of relevant trends and movements
* Creative personality with an eye for design and storytelling
* Data-driven mindset and ability to analyse and pivot based on performance
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Passion for social media, digital trends and building online communities
* Is comfortable and excited by the prospect of joining a company that is in its early stage
