The Role
:
As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for the sales, receipt, and delivery of parts and accessories, as well as promoting the latest deals and offers.
They will provide AGCO training and structured progression plan for your career development.
Responsibilities:
1. Market and sell parts across all franchises and services via phone, internet, and face-to-face interactions.
2. Ensure customer orders are prepared for pickup, delivery, or securely packaged for shipping.
3. Generate customer quotes.
4. Provide and order parts for Service Technicians.
5. Verify and record incoming deliveries, place them in the correct location, or forward them to despatch/workshop as appropriate.
6. Manage inventory levels and assist with stock audits.
7. Complete essential administrative tasks such as order processing and sales documentation.
8. Reach out to customers with special offers and collaborate with the marketing team on seasonal promotions.
9. Identify new business opportunities to enhance the parts department and achieve sales goals.
10. Safely perform heavy lifting to move parts and oils.
Requirements:
11. Previous experience working in a similar role.
12. Basic understanding of machinery or automotive parts.
13. Possess computer skills and familiarity with Windows programmes.
14. Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
15. Experience in an agricultural parts environment or similar would be preferred.
16. Valid UK driving licence.
