This is an exciting chance to join a high-profile team in a varied role as our RegulatoryCompliance Analyst. You will be at the forefront inhelping deliver several exciting initiatives.

This interesting role also offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the functioning of water regulation in England, and the operation of the largest water and wastewater company in the UK.
You will have the opportunity to use your excellent project management skills to assist with Thames Water’s continuous improvement.
You will have an opportunity to influence Thames Water’s overview and response to industry regulations and decisions.
Please note that this will be a fixed term/secondment appointment for between approximately 3-4 months.
What you’ll be doing as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst
1. Supporting the Regulatory Managers in monitoring and managing regulatory compliance, performance, and coordination.
2. Assisting in the rollout and review of self-certification for compliance assessment purposes.
3. Developing and testing maintenance processes.
4. Perform a ‘’Deep Dive’ analysis of evidence of compliance in areas of high risk to support the outcomes of the self-certification process.
5. Supporting Regulatory Managers in the delivery of key regulatory and environmental milestones.
What you should bring to the role
6. You should possess a background in utility regulation or compliance within a regulated environment with experience in how large, complex organisations deliver and monitor compliance.
7. Ideally, you will have an excellent understanding of how a regulated water business operates and be aware of recent regulatory developments specific to the water industry and how they impact water companies.
8. Ability to quickly understand and analyse the impact of new policy areas on the operation of the business.
9. Excellent communication and presentational skills and the ability to translate complex regulatory issues into clear, understandable terms.
10. Ability to think strategically with a keen eye for detail.
11. Good commercial awareness and proven influencing and negotiation skills are essential.

12. Competitive salary between £45,000 - £48,000 per annum pro rata.
