Role Overview
Join our Green Tech client, where your expertise in safety, certification, and reliability will be critical to ensuring our commercial products meet stringent safety and compliance standards. You'll be working on cutting-edge applications in automotive and industrial power systems.
In this role, you will spearhead the definition and implementation of our product certification, safety, and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting product assessments to ensure alignment with relevant standards and legislation, as well as evaluating and advising on product reliability improvements.
What We're Looking For
* A Bachelor’s degree (BEng/BSc) in a relevant field or equivalent industrial experience. A postgraduate qualification in certification, safety, or RAMS engineering is a plus but not essential.
* Extensive experience in safety, certification, and RAMS engineering with a thorough understanding of the product lifecycle.
* Proficiency in RAMS planning, assessment, and safety case development. Experience in the Hydrogen sector is desirable.
* Demonstrated expertise in applying safety and reliability tools and techniques such as FMEA, FRACAS, and FTA.
* A commercial mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic and agile environment, coupled with strong collaborative skills for working with both technical and non-technical team members.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
