Our client, a well-established veterinary practice in rural Baskingstoke, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to provide maternity cover starting in October/November 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vet to join a supportive team and deliver high-quality care to patients.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional veterinary services to the local community. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health conditions, performing surgical procedures, and offering preventive care advice to pet owners. Your expertise and compassion will contribute to the overall success of the practice and the well-being of the animals under your care.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat various animal health conditions
* Perform surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
* Offer preventive care advice and educate pet owners
* Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients
* Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
* Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with relevant experience
* Excellent clinical skills and surgical expertise
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care
* RCVS membership and VDS cover
