Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an individual who have a passion to work in an organisation that specialises in autism, supporting autistic children and adults on the autism spectrum to live the lives they choose. This role is based in our school, the main part of your role will be to support our pupils during the day.
Your qualities:
1. Patient, inspiring, caring and sensitive towards the needs of vulnerable people
2. Good listener, able to report and record information accurately
3. Team player and able to work independently with little support as required
4. Resilient, able to work proactively with challenging behaviour
5. Willing and able to provide personal care to individuals as required
6. Individuals who value diversity, health and safety and are committed to safe working practice
You may also have:
7. a personal connection to autism or a desire to work with people with autism
8. real life experience supporting autistic adults or children with autism in a paid or voluntary capacity
