Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance team where you and your team of Area Sales Managers will generate new business whilst also building on existing relationships within the construction & Recycling sectors.
Sales will be generated through direct sales activity, following up leads generated by marketing, initiating local marketing activity and actively sourcing new business opportunities using external agents/introducers.
This is a field based role, working across Yorkshire, so you will ideally be based locally. The role involves travel across the region to meet customers face to face and to support the development of your team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Proactively source sales across the Yorkshire region by directly prospecting the existing customer base, sourcing new customers and through dealer introducers
* Negotiate terms of agreement and close sales, gathering market and customer information
* Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
* Coach & train Area Managers to ensure they are fully equipped to do their jobs. Managing their performance and ensuring they achieve agreed upon targets
* Maintain a full comprehension of all finance products offered by Close Brothers Asset Finance as well as associated add-on products
* Work closely with the Collections team, maintaining a satisfactory level of defaults within your own and your teams portfolio.
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

* You have a proven track record of delivering sales in the Asset Finance Industry
* You are self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed set targets
* You're a proactive, go-getting person that is tenacious and resilient with a strong desire to succeed
* You have strong stakeholder management skills, a with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
* You have a successful track record of planning and organising effective sales activity
* You are an excellent communicator with a direct and open style.
* You have the passion and drive for generating revenue with evidence of “going the extra mile” coupled with strong client focus, a flexible and resilient attitude.
IT'S NOT ESSENTIAL, BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF:
* You have direct experience in the Construction & Recycling sectors
* You have experience of managing a team - either directly or indirectly mentoring and coaching sales people
