Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting audit seniors on various audits, including stock take attendance
* Handling audit and accounting matters, and documenting work and conclusions
* Preparing statutory accounts using IRIS (mainly under FRS102)
* Drafting corporate and personal tax returns, and routine compliance work
* Liaising with clients to ensure timely delivery of services and addressing queries
* Utilizing Excel spreadsheets to present and analyze key information
* Ensuring client accounts and tax affairs are organized and up to date with new information and key changes
Key Skills & Experience:
* Minimum AAT qualification or equivalent, or qualified by experience
* 2+ years' audit experience within a similar role
* Experience with audit automation (CCH online)
* Knowledge of cloud-based software such as Xero and Sage
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Proactive approach, with the ability to work to deadlines
* Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to think clearly and document work accurately
