About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Co-Ordinator to support the implementation of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Reform programme in line with the Children and Families Act 2014, associated regulations, and the SEND Code of Practice 2014.
You will work collaboratively with children, young people, families, and multi-agency teams to create, implement, and review EHCPs, ensuring that outcomes are person-centred and aligned with statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Assessment and Evidence Gathering: Lead assessments, gather relevant evidence, and triage families to appropriate services.
* Person-Centred Planning: Facilitate multi-agency planning meetings, draft outcomes-focused EHCPs, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
* Review and Monitoring: Regularly review the outcomes of EHCPs and support schools with pupils who have SEND to achieve their potential.
* Dispute Resolution: Address disputes and support tribunal preparations if necessary.
* Support and Guidance: Provide advice on personal budgets, appropriate educational placements, and the Equality Act's requirements for SEND pupils.
