Job Purpose / Summary

Hydraflow, part of the Rubix Group, was founded in and serves more than customers in the UK and boasts a blue-chip client base that includes some of the largest manufacturers. We specialise in hydraulic cylinders and new manufactures of hydraulic cylinders.
Key Responsibilities
Main Tasks and Deliverables:
· Ensure workflow procedures are followed.
· Operate various machines tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies.
* Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional lathe and milling work.
* Perform various metallising techniques as required.
* Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
* Use hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools.
* Record all data necessary to produce expected service or design results.
* Maintain machines in good working order and report any defects to management.
* Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
* Keep work area neat and tidy.
* Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear the correct PPE.
* Carry out any other reasonable request.
· Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including but not limited to band saw, belt sanders, hand grinders, files, etc.
· Ensure that all company H&S policies and procedures are followed to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
· Promote a culture of working safely as routine.
Skills and Experience:
* High school qualifications.
* Must have experience of manual machining.
* Must be able to work to tight deadlines.
* Must be a good team player but also able to work using your own initiative.
