Our Coopers Lane Foodstore in Clacton is on the hunt for a passionate and driven Branch Manager to spearhead our dynamic team!
Located just a stone’s throw from Clacton Town Football Club and in the heart of the surrounding community, you'll have the opportunity to lead a successful store that serves as a hub for our local residents. You can find us in the bustling shopping parade on Coopers Lane, easily accessible on foot and by car, just a few minutes’ drive from the B via Jaywick Lane and London Road (A).

Role Responsibility
6. Lead and support the branch team
7. Ensure that the branch delivers exceptional standards and customer service
8. Growing the branch's turnover and profitability (e.g. managing costs, including personnel)
9. Make sure that the branch is operating safe and legally (including acting as the DPS)
10. Establish the branch as the convenience retailer trusted most by its local community
11. Build relationships with other stores, customers and Head Office/support colleagues
12. Promoting membership
The Ideal Candidate
You don't necessarily need to have managed a store before - we will provide you with the training and skills you need to succeed - but you will have demonstrated first-class team leadership in previous role(s).
13. Experience of working in a food retail or customer service environment
14. Great interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
15. Commercially astute
16. A confident decision-maker
17. Driven, determined and resilient
18. Good level of literacy, numeracy and IT literacy
19. Self-aware, with commitment to continued professional and personal development
