Avon and Wiltshire Partnership is looking for an exceptional person to provide leadership in delivering excellent care for people with a learning disability and autistic individuals in our specialist acute inpatient mental health service and outreach team, opening in 2025. As part of the South West NHS England programme to transform end-to-end pathways in the region, AWP aims to be a centre of excellence.
You will be employed to work as a core member of the project team until the service opening in the autumn. You will be instrumental in the development, implementation, and delivery of the clinical and operational model, particularly in relation to psychological therapies. You will take a leadership role within the wider psychology services for people with learning disabilities in the trust, joining a team of enthusiastic and dedicated community-based Psychologists. We are committed to supporting your professional development, which includes providing opportunities for further training and development, including training as a Multi-professional Approved/Responsible Clinician if required.
