Join Our Team as a Complex Care Assistant!
We are looking for healthcare assistants and support staff to assist our young client in living independently and safely in their home near Polegate.
About the Role:
As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our client’s daily life, assisting with their Learning Difficulties, Autism, Seizure management, and personal care.
We are committed to your success and will provide comprehensive, paid clinical training to ensure you’re equipped to meet our client’s needs confidently.
Our experienced team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors will offer continuous support and guidance as you grow in your role.
Shift Pattern:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per week.
* Type: 2:1 Day Shifts
* Hours: Thursday 15:00 – 21:00, Weekends 11:00 – 17:00
If you have additional availability, and would be happy to travel to different locations, we have other clients in the local area which can be discussed.
Other shifts are available Monday through Sunday. Choose your preferred days, and this will constitute your fixed schedule.

Responsibilities
* Full personal care.
* Medication administration, including emergency seizure medication and use of VNS.
* Knowledge and understanding of Autism.
* Assist the client with moving and handling.
* Confident and clear communication with the client.
* Carefully understanding and following the client's care plan, as advised by the Nurse Manager.
* Prioritising the client's wellbeing, including raising any safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
* At least 6 months experience in a UK care environment.
* Demonstrated experience with Complex Care clients.
* UK Driving License is not essential, but preferred.
