We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join us as a People (HR) Advisor. The People (HR) Advisor works as part of the people operations team, reporting to the People Business Partners and delivering across a generalist people (HR) remit, including employee relations, organisational change, policy design/implementation and business-wide projects and initiatives. There is also the opportunity to work alongside specialist colleagues in the wider people services team, including learning and development and recruitment. The People (HR) Advisor will have the following key responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for all employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance and performance. Support managers to effectively manage sickness absence cases. Supporting service restructures and TUPE processes. Attending regular management meetings, providing accurate and timely HR data to inform people processes. Support the Recruitment team with recruitment processes as required, including attending interviews. Supervise the work of the People Administrators, including being the first point of escalation for work-related issues. Support the People Business Partners in conducting monthly KPI reporting and providing accurate data to the business. Taking an active part in introducing, reviewing, and/or carrying out employee engagement/wellbeing projects and initiatives. Provide support to the People Administrators in completing payroll changes and updates to the HRM system. Support the Head of People Services and People Business Partners in updating, and introducing, HR policies & procedures in line with employment legislation. Supporting the creation and delivery of training to be provided as required in line with organisational need. It is essential for the successful candidate to be CIPD qualified, and to possess a good standard of written and oral communication skills, including GCSE English qualifications. It’s also required that applicants will have a driving license to support travel to various sites.
