We are now recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join us on our major projects located in Warrington. Purpose and Scope: The Quality Auditor is responsible for supporting the Quality Team to ensure that the Programme Audit Schedule is devised with all required stakeholders input and implemented. The Quality Auditor will be required to undertake all required audits both internal and external as per the Audit Schedule. Ensuring non-conformances processes are understood and implemented by the project team and supply chain. Provide support / advice regarding the effective management, execution and closeout of all findings. Assist in contributing, maintaining, managing and improving the Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of BS-EN-ISO-9001 and other quality management standards and specifications as required. Responsibilities Responsible for the management and adherence to the Programme/Project Audit Schedule. Ensure that the Audit Schedule is planned in line with client and contractual requirements. Ensure that the Audit information including notifications, Terms of Reference and close-out meetings are arranged as per Amentum Procedures. Act as custodian for the Audit Schedule Ensure copies of all Audit reports are disseminated throughout the organisation and client teams. Responsible for the management to closure of all audit-related findings Assist the Project Quality Engineers (QE) and/or (Snr.) Quality Manager (QM) in the delivery of project objectives in line with the Project Quality Plan / Strategy. Be able to analyse audit and NCR returned data to establish trends and improvement opportunities, proving advice and reports to SLT. Contribute to the generation and maintenance of company procedures and records ensuring compliance with the latest customer requirements. Handle supplier queries / customer complaints / feedback and ensure effective correction and corrective actions are taken. Seeking advice and escalating where required. Support the investigation of non-conforming products / processes and ensuring effective correction and corrective action is taken to close out NCRs. Support raising the awareness of Programme/Project Quality requirements through meetings, promotions, quality shares, forums etc. Work in line with the Amentum Integrated Management System (IMS) and support any improvement opportunities in process and work instructions. Promote company and client quality objectives and expectations. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Competencies/Qualifications / Experience Higher Level Diploma in related Discipline (preferred) ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (qualified), Lead Auditor for Environmental, H&S, Information Security advantageous Supplier Auditing experience (Essential). NCR generation and management. Excellent working Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015. Understanding of ISO 14001 / 45001 requirements. Experience and understanding of process improvement. Membership of appropriate professional body (I.e., CQI) or willingness to attain. Experience of working in highly regulated industry. Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent time management, planning, organisation and prioritisation skills. Must be willing to train and learn, with continued CPD.
