Do you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs?
I am recruiting for a large, diverse mainstream primary school in north Sheffield, who are looking for a 1-2-1 SEN TA. This role will involve supporting a Year 1 child with ASC.
Ideally you will have experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum and be able to employ a number of strategies to encourage the child to learn and socialise with their peers.
You will need to be sensitive to the special needs of individual children and be able to work as part of a team. Previous experience of working with special needs children and running intervention groups is essential. Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative and creativity and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
