You will be working for a large public sector organisation based in Aberdeen City Centre. As a plumber within our organisation, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving properties in Aberdeen City Centre. Your work will primarily involve plumbing in void homes, ensuring they are safe, functional, and ready for occupancy.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and Assess: Conduct thorough assessments of vacant properties to identify plumbing issues, leaks, and necessary repairs.
2. Repair and Install: Repair or replace faulty plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings. Install new plumbing systems as needed.
3. Testing and Certification: Ensure all plumbing workplies with safety standards and regulations. Certifypleted installations.
4. Collaborate with Contractors: Coordinate with other tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, etc.) to ensure seamless property maintenance.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
What you'll need to succeed
6. SVQ 3 in Plumbing: Demonstrates your expertise and qualifications.
7. Valid Driving Licence: Required for travel to different properties.
8. CSCS Card (Preferred): Enhances your eligibility for construction-related work.
