Marian Centre Consulting Rooms is a specialist consulting room for psychiatrists in Wembley, part of the Marian Centre hospital, a private mental health facility. We are currently offering a casual pool opportunity for a medical receptionist to join our team on a casual basis across our Aurora Sites.
This exciting position requires you to:
* Commence work immediately.
* Be available to work between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm as required.
* Have flexibility to work at all sites including Marian Centre Consulting Suites, Marian Centre Private Hospital, and Abbotsford Psychiatry.
* Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the psychiatrists.
* Be flexible within the work environment.
* Multi-task and adopt different tasks seamlessly.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Tasks will include:
* Reception duties such as administrative tasks, dealing with queries from patients, and answering the telephone.
* General administrative support including photocopying, typing, faxing, managing allocated psychiatrists' calendars, medical record keeping, and other administrative requirements.
* Liaising with external service providers as required.
* Processing and handling patient accounts within a private consulting room setting.
* Adapting to a fast-paced environment and learning new tasks.
* Assisting with accurate filing of records.
* Extensive in-house training will be provided to the right candidate.
* Must have a current visa to work in Australia.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Mature personality with the ability to empathize with people from all walks of life.
* Interest in a long-term career within our organization.
* Proficiency in medical software such as Best Practice / Webpas is preferable.
* Experience in medical administration, front office reception duties, or general administration.
* Experience with cash handling and processing accounts.
