Job Title: Hygiene Manager
Job Summary:
A highly skilled Hygiene Manager is required to lead our team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance in our food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective cleaning strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Lead a team of 100 hygiene staff to ensure adherence to company hygiene standards, food safety legislation, and customer audit requirements.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and technical departments to ensure a safe working environment.
* Ensure the hygiene team adheres to COSHH regulations and health & safety protocols.
* Oversee cleaning schedules and manage chemical usage to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Drive continuous improvement through risk assessments, audits, and root cause analysis.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and developments, driving innovation within the hygiene function.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as Hygiene Manager in a food manufacturing environment.
* Proven track record of managing large teams and driving high-performance standards.
* In-depth knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and other food safety management systems.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* IOSH or NEBOSH desirable but not essential.
