About the role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and culture, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students in immersive language experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French language lessons to students studying at Key stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Develop and implement a curriculum that covers listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language practice.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in language education and integrate them into your teaching.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in French, Education
* Teaching certification/license in French or a relevant subject area.
* Proven experience teaching French at secondary level.
* Native or near-native proficiency in French.
* Strong knowledge of French language pedagogy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential in language learning.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of language education.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of French Teacher you will:
* Must hold a PGCE in Teaching French
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* PGCE in French/ MFL
