This role requires being based in the office five days a week (Noting Hill) The salary range is £45,000-£52,000 About the Role A luxury events venue in Notting Hill are recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our organization, focusing on management accounts, cash flow forecasting, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and balance sheet management. This role is pivotal in supporting strategic decisions and ensuring financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities Management Accounts: Prepare and present monthly management accounts, providing insights to senior leadership. Cash Flow Forecasting: Monitor and forecast the company's cash flow, ensuring financial stability and the ability to meet obligations. Profit & Loss Management: Analyse P&L statements, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Balance Sheet Oversight: Maintain accurate and up-to-date balance sheets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to provide financial support and guidance. Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting: Prepare financial reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Required Skills and Experience Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a finance role Industry Background: Experience within the finance team of a restaurant, hotel, or events business is essential. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of financial principles, including management accounts, cash flow forecasting, P&L, and balance sheet management. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Desirable Skills Luxury Experience: Experience working in luxury sectors of the hospitality or events industry. Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is advantageous. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
