Our client is one of the largest privately owned plant hire companies in the North of England with 8 depots. Established over 70 years ago, it provides a complete hire and sales service for a wide range of Construction Plant, Tools, Excavator Attachments and Secure Site Accommodation. They are now looking for a Hire Controller for their Catterick Depot.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responding to customer enquiries about plant, machinery and tool hire
* Pro-actively promoting the company at all times
* Developing professional relationships with internal and external clients
* Maintaining and exceeding company targets
* Setting up customer hire contracts
* Negotiating costs and preparing invoices
* General administration
Requirements
* You must have experience of working as a Hire Controller within a construction hire company
* Have a proven track record of providing great customer service
* The enthusiasm to learn about our business and range of equipment we supply.
* The ability to multi-task, working quickly and accurately under pressure
* A good level of numeracy, literacy, and IT skill
