We’re looking for an Office Manager to help us on our quest. Every day we wake up to find ways to deliver exceptional products and services. We bake the best sourdough and pastries in Canterbury and we’re on the hunt for more great people. We are growing fast and we need you to help us be as efficient and effective as possible.
You’ll be working in a management team full of driven and ambitious people, at our main bakery location with plenty of samples to try and the smell of fresh bread to motivate you. You’ll have plenty of variety in your work, with mid to long-term projects to champion, as well as the opportunity to work from home or our other locations, so you can feel confident you’ll be kept interested and motivated.
We have 60+ staff working round-the-clock to get our bread and pastries delivered to a variety of retail and wholesale customers daily. Which means there’s a lot of customer queries, administration, and bookkeeping to get done – so you should be someone who is confident, accurate, conscientious, and composed.
As Office Manager, you will help with chasing up late-payers, emailing suppliers, and sending out meeting minutes.
In a nutshell – we need an office allrounder, to keep the company moving forward. We need someone who is strict about business compliance, but relaxed when communicating with our team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. BOOKKEEPING: Keeping our daily bookkeeping functions up to date including bank reconciliations, customer and supplier invoices, cashflow forecasts, payroll, wage allocations, PAYE returns, and GST filing.
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Managing email enquiries, oversight of catering and bespoke orders, exceeding expectations for customer service, and new customer onboarding.
3. OFFICE ADMINISTRATION: Provide administrative support to management and department heads.
