Mobile Application Trainer - Digital Application
£150 per day inside IR35. Remote with extensive travel.
Our client is an IT service provider based in Southampton requiring mobile application trainers to support the rollout of a new digital software across the South West. This is a contract role, and project duration is expected to be up to 6 months. The client is rolling out a new application across multiple sites in the South West, including sites in Somerset, Hampshire, Southampton, Wiltshire, and parts of Surrey.
You will work closely with our customers and key stakeholders during the rollout process to ensure that the customer experience is positive. We are looking for proactive, diverse individuals who can connect with our customers for this role.
You will help manage change and plan for the future in line with the client's digital project goals and priorities.
This role would be perfect for recent graduates or candidates with great interpersonal skills and relevant experience looking for a new challenge.
Key responsibilities:
* Be the 'on the ground' face for the rollout of the software and the key contact for senior rollout team members.
* Be the first point of contact for queries from services and triage as appropriate.
* Have a detailed technical understanding of the software being implemented and its design.
* Train and coach new and existing staff on the new software to ensure proficiency.
* Download the software onto all devices used at each site.
* Liaise with the IT Team and Implementation Managers to resolve local technical issues.
* Be onsite at a service for between 3 and 5 days during the working week across the South West to support services with implementation.
* Travel to each required site; a driving licence is essential.
About you:
* You must be tech-savvy and/or have a technical background.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; be approachable, friendly, and patient.
* Ability to talk and present confidently to a range of audiences, including large groups.
* Excellent relationship management and organisational skills.
* Self-directed with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
* Able to train people in how to use software and preferably have previous experience.
* Good time management and flexibility to travel as required.
Experience required:
* Good technical knowledge of mobile applications and software.
* Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Visio, etc.).
* Experience of large-scale digital project implementation is preferable.
* Previous experience in a similar role with a digital application is desirable.
* Familiarity with project management best practices.
Qualifications required:
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
* A relevant qualification to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
* Able to pass a DBS check.
