We are currently working with a specialist manufacturing business based in rural Maidstone.Due to company growth, they are looking to recruit a part-time Accounts Administrator to join their established team.After appropriate training, the Accounts Administrator will be able to assist the rest of the team with daily, monthly and annual financial duties, taking on some responsibility for inputting, reviewing and reconciling accounts. Whilst it would be beneficial for the candidate to have some experience of working in a similar role, this is also an ideal opportunity for a committed candidate from a transferable background or with some relevant qualifications.Key Tasks/Responsibilities:* Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts* Creating sales and purchase invoices* Undertake supplier statement reconciliations and make payments accordingly* Credit control responsibilities* Processing staff expense claims and credit card statements* Undertake month-end and year-end processes* Ensuring systems are up-to-date and accurate* Assist with monthly reporting* Participate in the development of the finance function, team and systemsEssential Skills:* Educated to at least A level standard, ideally from relevant subjects i.e. maths, economics, statistics, business studies, finance, etc.* Some relevant or transferable work experience would have an advantage* Strong accuracy and attention to detail* Analytical by nature* Ability to work independently and as part of a ...
