Personal Qualities
We are looking for teaching assistants who:
1. Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher.
2. Attend and contribute to planning meetings.
3. Adjust learning activities based on pupils’ responses as appropriate to achieve effective learning outcomes.
4. Work with own key person group of children.
5. Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher, providing feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and behaviour.
6. Provide information to the Teacher for monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress/activities.
7. Provide feedback to pupils in relation to attainment and progress under the guidance of the teacher.
8. Support learning by arranging/providing resources for lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher.
9. Liaise with other staff and provide information about pupils as appropriate.
10. Understand and support pupils with special needs.
11. Support the work of volunteers and other Learning Support staff in the classroom.
