We are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Farnborough audit department and manage a client portfolio. You will be joining an established friendly team and can expect full support and excellent career development opportunities. We are open to a qualified Senior looking for a step up or an established Audit Assistant Manager .

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
7. Management of an audit focussed portfolio of clients.
8. Overseeing the preparation of financial statements under FRS and IFRS.
9. Attendance and contributions at client meetings.
10. Completing audits with minimal supervision and within deadlines.
11. Management and development of upcoming audit talent.
12. Financial management of portfolio taking control of WIP, billing and debt management.
13. Involvement in business development, including maintaining own key contacts and fostering new relationships.
14. Maintaining a good level of technical knowledge and being able to independently research issues forming your own solutions.
The Person:
15. ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent.
16. Minimum of four years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
17. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client and team relationships.
18. Ability to manage complicated projects and multiple stakeholders.
19. Strong technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
20. Experience in leading group audits and the preparation of consolidated accounts.
21. Previous use of CaseWare or Mercia methodologies is desirable. Can build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
22. Produces high quality work to a good technical standard.
23. Strong organisational skills to effectively prioritise high volumes of work.
24. Anticipates and resolves problems at an early stage to keep assignments on budget.
25. Can identify opportunities for growth within existing client base and when to involve other service lines.
26. Takes an active role in developing the team providing day to day support on technical and other matters.
27. Travel Requirements: Role will be based in Leatherhead office and at client premises predominantly in Leatherhead and surrounding areas.
