What we are looking for:
A self-motivated individual that can seek out new business and nurture current customer relations, research & perform product demonstrations to customers where required. Explore areas & opportunities our products may benefit users & increase our global footprint.
Your responsibilities:
* identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels
* meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
* liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
* preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
* producing reports for management
* training & demonstrating products to customers
* research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
* generate leads and call prospective customers
* understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
* have a good understanding of the businesses' products & services and be able to advise others about them
* liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate
* attend seminars, exhibitions, conferences, and events where appropriate
* keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
* you'll be expected to dress smartly, especially for meetings, though slightly more relaxed business casual attire may be acceptable at other times
* depending on the type of business, overnight or overseas travel may be required
