Description and requirements
We are looking for a Senior Planner to join our Building team based in Moorgate, London. The purpose of this role is to manage the production of fully integrated programmes, phase sequence plans and method statements from bid stage through pre-construction, construction to final commissioning, handover and occupation together with the monitoring and reporting against such control documents, all in line with bid and project requirements including MEP service installations and commissioning.

What you'll do:
1. Manage the overall planning process, maintaining a proactive and professional service to the planning, bid and project teams working to the guidelines of the planning and programming strategic plan.
2. Manage the project planning / programming strategic plan and support the delivery team in collaborative planning activities, such as medium-short term plans and last planner activities.
3. Assist the management team in preparation of method statements and logistics plans to meet the needs of the project.
4. Manage the delivery and maintenance of all associated programmes as required by the bid and project planning and programming strategic plan - Including as a minimum, the Master Integrated Programme and short-medium term planning programmes, including Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handover Programmes
5. Manage the monitoring of progress and production of all internal and external progress reports for completion and delivery to the project leadership teams, client and other parties in a timely and professional manner.
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Demonstratable experience of delivering the planning function on major construction projects – specifically commercial office, data centres, or other complex buildings - working through bid, PCSA and delivery stages.
7. Demonstrable experience of different forms of contract including JCT, MPTC etc
8. Excellent working knowledge of Planning Software (Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera)
9. HNC/Degree qualification in a construction related subject or trade qualifications.
